A 39-year-old man was fatally shot outside his St Augustine home last Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Amanarth Bissoon of Spring Village, St Augustine.
The shooting took place around 12:30 am that day.
Two men,dressed in what appeared to be police tactical wear, woke the family.
They then made their way inside the home where they proceeded to rob Bissoon and his relatives.
However, shortly thereafter, there was said to be a confrontation outside the home which led to the 39-year-old man beingshot.
He was rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, however, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Investigators are following several leads, and arrests are said to be imminent.
